Award-winning internment documentary screens October 27th
at The Holy Trinity Auditorium

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – The multi-award-winning documentary, That Never Happened: Canada’s First National Internment Operations, will be screened in Vancouver at the Holy Trinity Auditorium, 154 East 10th Avenue, on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 1:30pm.

The Vancouver screening, a presentation of The Ukrainian Studies Foundation of BC, the Ukrainian Women’s Association of Canada, Lesia Ukrainka Branch, Vancouver, and the Canadian First World War Internment Recognition Fund, reveals how public records were destroyed in 1954. Three decades later, researchers began the task of stitching together the story of this dark chapter in Canadian history.
